Objectives
本专业培养适应社会主义现代化建设和地方经济社会发展需要,德智体美全面发展,
具有创新创业精神和社会责任感,掌握生物学、化学、工程学基本知识,具备生物工程
及其产业化的科学原理、工艺技术过程和工程设计等基础理论和工程实践能力,在轻工、
医药、食品、环保、现代农业、疾病预防控制、卫生检测、商检等领域从事与生物技术
和工程相关的生产、管理、品质分析与控制、设计、新技术研究、新产品开发等方面工
作,获得生物技术与工程领域一线工程师基本训练的高素质应用型人才。
In order to meet the socialist modernization, local economic and social development needs,
this subject is designed to cultivate students with all-round development (moral, intellectual,
physical and aesthetics), and innovative entrepreneurship and social responsibility. Students
should master the basic theories and knowledge on Biology, Chemistry and Engineering, learn
the basic principles of Biological Engineering and its industrialization, and obtain the abilities
of process technology, engineering design, and engineering practice. The graduates will work
on light industry, medicine, food, environmental protection, modern agriculture, disease
prevention and control, health inspection, commodity inspection. The students will be engaged
in the production, management, quality analysis and control, design, new technology study,
new product invention in biotechnology and engineering, and receive the basic trainings of
high-quality application-oriented talents and senior professionals in biotechnology and
engineering field.

培养要求
Requirements
本专业学生主要学习生物化学、微生物学、化学工程、发酵工程等方面的基本理论
和基础知识,获得生物细胞培养与选育、生物技术与工程等方面的基本知识和技能训练。
毕业生应具有以下几方面的知识、能力和素质:
Students should learn the basic theories and knowledge on Biochemistry, Microbiology,
Chemical Engineering, Fermentation Engineering and master the basic knowledge and
experimental operation skills of biological cell cultivation and breeding, biological technology
and engineering. The students should acquire the following knowledge, capabilities and
qualities before graduating from this major.

了解人文科学、社会科学及专业基本知识,同时了解数学,自然科学与当代科技
发展前沿知识,能够将数学、自然科学、工程基础和专业知识用于解决复杂工程问题。
Graduates should master the professional knowledge and required knowledge of
humanities and social sciences, as well as the cutting-edge knowledge of mathematics, natural
sciences and contemporary science and technology.
2. 能够应用数学、自然科学和工程科学的基本原理,识别、表达、并通过文献研究分析复杂工程问题,以获得有效结论。
Graduates should have the abilities to apply the basic theories of humanities, social
sciences and engineering sciences to identify, express, study, and analyze complex engineering
problems, eventually obtaining efficacious conclusions.
3.
能够设计针对复杂工程问题的解决方案,设计满足特定需求的系统、单元(部件)
或工艺流程,并能够在设计环节中体现创新意识,考虑社会、健康、安全、法律、文化
以及环境等因素。
Graduates should have the abilities of solving the complex engineering problems,
designing the special systems, units (components), or process flow, and taking into account the
factors of society, healthy, safety, laws, culture and environment during the innovative design.

能够基于科学原理并采用科学方法对复杂工程问题进行研究,包括设计实验、分
析与解释数据、并通过信息综合得到合理有效的结论。
The students should have the abilities of studying complex engineering problems based on
scientific principles and methods, including experiment design, data analysis and interpretation,
information comprehensive judgment, and reasonable conclusions.
5.
能够针对复杂工程问题,开发、选择与使用恰当的技术、资源、现代工程工具和
信息技术工具,包括对复杂工程问题的预测与模拟,并能够理解其局限性。
The graduates should have the abilities of developing, selecting and utilizing the
appropriate technology, resources, modern engineering tools and information technology tools
to solve complex engineering problems, including the prediction and simulation of the
problems, and also understanding its limitations.
6.
能够基于工程相关背景知识进行合理分析,评价专业工程实践和复杂工程问题解
决方案对社会、健康、安全、法律以及文化的影响,并理解应承担的责任。
The students should have the abilities of conducting the reasonable analysis, evaluation of
professional engineering practice, and solutions of the complex engineering problems, based
on their engineering related background knowledge. During the above process, the students
should understand the impact on society, healthy, safety, the laws, and culture, and also taking
the responsibilities.
7.
能够理解和评价针对复杂工程问题的专业工程实践对环境、社会可持续发展的影
响。
Graduates should understand and have the abilities to assess the effects of engineering
practices involving in solving complex engineering problem on environment and social
sustainable development.
8.
具有人文社会科学素养、社会责任感,能够在工程实践中理解并遵守工程职业道
德和规范,履行责任。
Graduates should possess humanity and social science accomplishment and social
responsibilities; understand and comply with engineering ethics and undertake responsibilities
in engineering practices.
9.
能够在多学科背景下的团队中承担个体、团队成员以及负责人的角色。
Graduates should be competent to play the roles of individuals, members or person in
charge in a team under the background of multidisciplinary.
10.
能够就复杂工程问题与业界同行及社会公众进行有效沟通和交流,包括撰写报告
和设计文稿、陈述发言、清晰表达或回应指令。并具备一定的国际视野,能够在跨文化
背景下进行沟通和交流。
Graduates should communicate and the exchange effectively with peers and the public
about the complex engineering problems, by writing reports, exhibiting design, giving speech,
expressing clearly and responding questions. Graduates should also have international
perspective to communicate and exchange under multicultural background.
11.
理解并掌握工程管理原理与经济决策方法,并能在多学科环境中应用。
Graduates should understand and master the principles of project management and
methods of economic decision-making, and can apply them in a multi-disciplinary
environment.
12.
具有自主学习和终身学习的意识,有不断学习和适应发展的能力。
Graduates should obtain the consciousness and abilities of independent and
lifelong-studies, possess the abilities of lifelong studies and adapting to the development.
