Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Smart Transportation(ST)

该方向主要研究人工智能技术在智慧交通系统中的应用,如数据采集与处理技术、图像识别技术、车路协同技术。这些技术在道路智能交通监控、智能出行决策以及智能交通管理等领域具有广阔的应用前景。本方向教育和研究的目的是帮助学生培养智能交通科学理论、方法和技术解决问题的意识和能力。具体而言,重点的研究领域包括:

The research of AI & ST focuses on application of artificial intelligence technology in intelligent transportation system, such as data acquisition and processing technology, image recognition technology, vehicle-road cooperation technology. These technologies have broad application prospects in intelligent traffic monitoring, intelligent travel decision-making and intelligent traffic management. The education and research purposes are to help students develop the awareness and ability to apply theories, methods and techniques of intelligent transportation system science to solve problems. Specifically, AI & ST engages in the following research focus areas:

1)智能交通监控。利用图像监控识别技术,实时掌握道路的车流量、拥堵、红绿灯等状况

1) Intelligent traffic monitoring. By using image monitoring and recognition technology, and the traffic flow, congestion, traffic lights and other conditions on the road can be mastered in real time.

2)智能出行决策。获取交通信息数据,利用大数据技术详细分析地图中显示的道路交通状况,为使用者提供更精准的道路交通信息,并给出最符合出行者需求的指引方案。

2) Intelligent travel decision-making. Obtain traffic information data, and by using big data technology to analyze the road traffic conditions shown on the map in detail, and more accurate road traffic information is provided for users and the guidance scheme that best meets the needs of travelers is given to travelers.

3)智能交通管理。通过智能化调整交通信号灯的时长,或利用相应模式合理、有效地疏通交通,实现交通管理并调整智能化的标准,降低交通堵塞现象。

3) Intelligent traffic management. By adjusting the length of the traffic signal intelligently, or using the corresponding mode to dredge the traffic reasonably and effectively, and the traffic management is accomplished and the standard of intelligent is adjusted, and the traffic congestion is reduced.
