载运工具运用工程为交通运输工程一级学科下属的二级学科。主要研究载运工具运行品质、安全和检测维修等理论和技术，研究方向包括：载运工具可靠性与安全技术；车辆运行状态监测与试验标定技术；智能车辆自动驾驶与测试技术；载运工具新材料、新技术、新工艺的应用与开发。

Vehicle operation engineering is a secondary-level discipline subordinate to the first-level discipline of transportation engineering. The main research focuses on the theory and technology of transport vehicle operation quality, safety and inspection and maintenance. The research directions include: Transport vehicle reliability and safety technology; Vehicle running state monitoring and test calibration technology; Intelligent vehicle autonomous driving and testing technology; Applications and developments of new materials, new technology and new process for carrying tools.
