I. 培养目标 Objectives
本专业旨在培养知华友华，具有良好的人文素质和社会责任感的国际人才。经过四年专业学习，学生能理解国际经济与贸易实践的基本理论，通晓经济贸易领域的国际惯例和中国对外贸易的政策法规，掌握现代商务信息技术，了解当代世界经济发展现状、趋势，具备国际市场业务开拓、国际商务实际操作能力，成为能在贸易公司、政府部门从事国际商务、国际贸易等方面工作的高素质应用型人才。
This major aims to cultivate international talents who are knowledgeable and friendly, have good humanistic qualities and a sense of social responsibility. For four-academic-year (Fall and Spring Semesters) study, students can learn theories on international economics and international commercial practices. Students can be familiar with international practice in the field of economy and trade and China’s foreign trade policies and regulations, understand modern business information technology, and the world economy development status and trends, and have the ability to explore international market, and to execute international business. After graduation, students can be talents of international business and trade, who are apt to work in foreign trade firms and government departments.
II. 培养要求 Requirements
能掌握国际经济与贸易专业的基本理论知识，学习国际贸易，国际投资与经济合作，提高从事国际商务的能力。
Participants mainly learn basic theories and knowledge on international economics. They will receive some training on international trade, international investment and economic cooperation. They will improve the abilities in working at international business.
毕业生将：
Graduates are required to:
1. 了解中国历史与文化、地方特色文化、人文科学、社会科学及专业基本知识，同时了解中国社会主流价值观和公共道德观念，遵守中国法律，形成良好的道德品质和行为习惯。
Graduates should master the basic knowledge of Chinese history and culture, local distinctive culture, humanities and social sciences and basic professional knowledge and as well as the knowledge of China’s mainstream social values and public ethics, comply with the Chinese laws and form good moral character and behavior habit.
2. 能够顺利使用中文完成本专业的学习和研究任务，并具备用中文从事本专业相关工作的能力；毕业时，中文能力应当至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》五级水平。
Graduates are supposed to use Chinese language to complete the learning and research tasks of this major and be able to do specialty-related work via Chinese language. Upon graduation, the Chinese proficiency of undergraduates should at least reach the Level 5 of the HSK.
3. 具有扎实的现代经济学基础理论，系统掌握国际经济与贸易的理论和业务知识，了解国际经济的发展趋势以及主要国家和地区的经济发展状况；
Acquire solid theoretical basis of modern economics; master international economy and trade theory and professional knowledge; understand the development trend of the international economy and the economic development status of major countries and regions;
4. 具备独立从事国际贸易、国际投资、跨国经营管理实践活动和理论研究能力;
Have independent ability of doing theoretical research and to practice in international trade, international investment, transnational operation and management；
5. 了解中国对外经济政策和法规、主要国家的贸易政策与法律，熟悉经济贸易领域的国际惯例与通行操作实践；
Be familiar with China's foreign economic policies and regulations, major countries' trade policies and laws, and the international practice in the field of economic and trade;
6. 熟练运用现代经济分析方法和技术手段分析和应对国际经贸问题，进行经济分析的能力；
Be able to skillfully use modern economic analysis methods and technical means to analyze and deal with international economic and trade issues, and conduct economic analysis;
7. 掌握资料查询、文献检索以及运用现代信息技术获取相关信息的基本方法，具有一定的社会调查，归纳、整理、分析调查结果，撰写论文的能力；能够就国际经济问题与业界同行、社会公众，以及在跨文化背景下进行有效沟通和交流。
Master the basic methods of information retrieval, document retrieval and the modern information technology to obtain relevant information, with the ability to conduct social investigation, and to induct, collate, analyze the survey results, and present the results into papers; be capable to effectively communicate and exchange opinions, under the cross cultural context, of international economic issues with the industry peers, public.
8. 在管理、服务、沟通、协作等多方面得到培养，成为具有团队协作能力、能有效进行人际沟通的合格人才，并且通过国际贸易实践提升组织和协调能力。
Be cultivated in aspects of management, service, communication, cooperation, etc., especially organization and coordination abilities in project practices, and become qualified talents with teamwork and communication abilities.
9. 通过团队协作项目、专业核心课研讨环节、综合实践项目研讨环节等多渠道，有效沟通和交流能力得到培养，包括撰写报告、设计文稿、陈述发言、清晰表达和回应指令。
Be cultivated to obtain communication abilities through different kinds of teamwork projects, core course discussions, comprehensive practice projects, etc., including report writing, document design, statement, clear expression, and instruction response.
10. 通过学习跨学科专业课程，理解并掌握国际经济与贸易应用项目所涉及的管理原理与经济决策方法，并能应用到实际项目中。
Understand and master the management principles and economic decision methods involved in international trade, and be able to apply them into practical projects through interdisciplinary course study.
11. 通过创新性实践项目和企业实习，认识和理解国际经济与贸易领域知识更新快、新技术和新方法层出不穷的特征，树立稳定的职业目标，具备自主学习、终身学习的意识和能力。
Be aware of the characteristics of rapid knowledge update and continuous emerge of new techniques and methods in the field of International Economics & Trade through innovative projects and enterprise internships; establish stable career objectives; and obtain the consciousness and abilities of independent and lifelong studies.
12.具有人文社会科学素养、社会责任感，能够在国际经济与贸易实践中理解并遵守职业道德规范，承担责任。
Possess humanity and social science accomplishment and social responsibilities; understand and comply with career ethics and undertake responsibilities in international trade.
13. 掌握从事国际经济与贸易所需的数学、经济学、管理学、法律和专业知识，有能力将其运用到复杂的国际贸易活动中。
Master the professional knowledge of International Economics & Trade and the required knowledge of mathematics, economics, management and law, be able to apply these knowledges to sophisticated international trade projects.
14. 在本专业领域中具有一定的国际视野，能够在多个国家的实际环境中运用专业知识和技能，并具备参与国际交流与合作的初步能力。
Graduates should have an international perspective, be able to apply the professional knowledge and skills in the actual environment of several countries, and have the ability to participate in international affairs and cooperation.
