Undergraduate Program Curriculum for 2020 Bioengineering
I. 培养目标Objectives
本专业培养适应“一带一路”国家经济社会发展需要,知华友华,熟悉中国基本国情与文化,具有良好人文素养和社会责任感,掌握生物学和工程学基本知识,具备生物工程及其产业化的科学原理、工艺技术过程和工程设计等基础理论和工程实践能力,在医药、发酵、环保、现代农业、卫生检测等领域从事与生物技术和工程相关的生产、管理、品质分析与控制、设计、新技术研究、新产品开发等方面工作的高素质应用型人才。
This major is designed to cultivate students who can meet the economic and social development needs of the Belt and Road countries, are friendly with China and familiar with China's basic national conditions and culture and have good humanistic quality and social responsibility. Students of this major should master the basic theories and knowledge on biology and engineering, learn the basic principles of biological engineering and its industrialization, and obtain the abilities of process technology, engineering design, and engineering practice. The graduates’ work will be in the fields of medicine, fermentation, environmental protection, modern agriculture, health inspection, etc. The graduates will be engaged in the work positions in biotechnology and engineering such as industrial production, management, quality analysis and control, design, new technology development, new product invention, and receive the basic training of high-quality application-oriented talents in the bio-engineering field.
II. 培养要求Requirements
本专业学生主要学习基因工程、生物工艺学、生物反应工程等方面的基本理论和基础知识,获得工厂设计、发酵酿造等方面的基本知识和技能训练。毕业生应具有以下几方面的知识、能力和素质:
Students should learn the basic theories and knowledge on genetic engineering, biotechnology, bio-reaction engineering, and master the basic knowledge and experimental operation skills of factory design, and fermentation. The students should acquire the following knowledge, capabilities and qualities before graduating from this major.
1. 了解中国历史与文化、地方特色文化、人文科学、社会科学及专业基本知识,同时了解中国社会主流价值观和公共道德观念,形成良好的道德品质和行为习惯。
Graduates should master the basic knowledge of Chinese history and culture, local distinctive culture, humanities and social sciences and basic professional knowledge and as well as the knowledge of China’s mainstream social values and public ethics, and form good moral character and behavior habit.
2. 能够顺利使用中文或英文完成本专业的学习任务,毕业时,本科生的中文能力应当至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》四级水平。
Graduates should successfully use Chinese or English to complete the study tasks of this major. Upon graduation, the Chinese proficiency of undergraduates should reach at least Level 4 of the HSK.
3. 掌握生物工程专业基础知识和基本原理,能够通过文献研究,分析实际工程问题。
Graduates should master the basic knowledge and basic principles of bioengineering, able to analyze practical engineering problems through literature research.
4. 能够针对发酵酿造等生物工程实际问题,设计解决方案,并能够在设计环节中考虑社会、健康、安全、法律、文化以及环境等因素。
Graduates should have the abilities of solving the bio-engineering problems, and taking into account the factors of society, healthy, safety, laws, culture and environment during the innovative design.
5. 能够基于生物工程相关背景知识进行合理分析,评价专业工程问题解决方案对社会、健康、安全等的影响,并理解应承担的责任。
The students should have the abilities of conducting the reasonable analysis, evaluation of professional bio-engineering practice, and solutions of the engineering problems, based on their engineering related background knowledge. During the above process, the students should understand the impact on society, healthy, safety, the laws, and culture, and also taking the responsibilities.
6. 能够理解和评价针对专业工程实践对环境、社会可持续发展的影响。
Graduates should understand and have the abilities to assess the effects of engineering practices involving in solving complex engineering problem on environment and social sustainable development.
7. 具有人文社会科学素养、社会责任感,能够在生物工程实践中理解并遵守工程职业道德和规范,履行责任。
Graduates should possess humanity and social science accomplishment and social responsibilities; understand and comply with engineering ethics and undertake responsibilities in engineering practices.
8. 能够在多学科背景下的团队中承担个体、团队成员以及负责人的角色。
Graduates should be competent to play the roles of individuals, members or person in charge in a team under the background of multidisciplinary.
9. 具有一定的国际视野,能够在相关国家的实际环境中运用专业知识和技能,并具备参与国际交流与合作的初步能力。
Graduates should have a certain international perspective, be able to apply professional knowledge and skills in the multinational environment, and have the initial ability to participate in international exchanges and cooperation.
10. 具有自主学习和终身学习的意识,有不断学习和适应发展的能力。
Graduates should obtain the consciousness and abilities of independent and lifelong-studies, possess the abilities of lifelong studies and adapting to the development.

X. 毕业与学位授予条件Graduation and degree granting conditions
1. 毕业标准 Graduation conditions
(1)具有良好的思想和身体素质,符合学校规定的德育和体育标准;
Graduates are expected to have good physical and mental quality, according with the moral and physical standards of HYIT.
(2)修完人才培养方案规定的所有课程和环节,取得规定的学分,毕业设计(论文)成绩合格。
Graduates are expected to complete the undergraduate study according to teaching plan, obtain all the credits. The undergraduate thesis (design) should be approved.
2. 学位授予标准 Degree-conferring requirements
符合《淮阴工学院来华留学生学士学位授予办法》。
Bachelor's Degree shall be conferred according to Requirements of Bachelor Degree Program for International Students in HYIT.
